Easy and yummy fall dessert: apples with ice cream

apples with ice cream

it’s like eating rainbows 🙂

We had some guests a few nights back and this was my surprise dessert. Everybody loved it, so I hope you do to! Here is the recipe:

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Slice off the tops of the apples but don’t throw them away, you can use them later for lids. Remove the cores. Sprinkle the insides and the removed tops with lemon, cinnamon and sugar. Bake for 10-15 min at 150 degrees.

After the baking

Wait till the apples cool a liitle bit and fill them with ice cream. I used Nestle’s ALOMA Vanilla Caramel Syrup. Then I topped them with a spoon of Nutella and closed them with the cut off tops. Bon apetit!

Ice cream and Nutella is a great combination

Looks tasty, doesn’t it?

  • 5 big slightly sour apples
  • 1 lemon
  • Ice cream
  • Nutella (you can use whatever topping you like)
  • cinnamon
  • sugar
