My fashion icons: Cate Blanchett

The Aussie beauty is a true acting and fashion inspiration. Her bold choices in both spheres have made her one of my all time favorite actresses. Cate Blanchett’s work has earned her a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, two SAG Awards, two Golden Globes, two BAFTAs, and an Academy Award.

Her talent, porcelain skin, amazing cheekbones, and the fact that just like her character in Lord of the Rings Galadriel, she never seems to age, have guaranteed her a long career.  Cate Blanchett is a truly gifted and a great professional in her craft. You can be sure to see her in  intriguing roles (I’m Not There, Elizabeth, Notes on a scandal, Babel, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) and she always manages to impress and amaze with her style experiments.
