All the small things

I don’t believe that the big things are the ones that make you happy in life. I mean happiness isn’t about the material things that surround us. Tyler Durden has said it “You’re not your job. You’re not how much money you have in the bank. You’re not the car you drive. You’re not the contents of your wallet. You’re not your fucking khakis. You’re the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.” I find pleasure in the small things. Like seeing the sunrise after partying all night on the beach. Or sticking your tongue out so you can catch a snowflake when the first snow starts falling. Or the kid that gives you a hug for no apparent reason. Or the song that gives you the chills and you listen it over and over again just to feel your insides warming. These small things put a smile on my face. And these too:

  1. “You’re not how much money you have in the bank.”, that’s a good thing, because I would not be very much at all… 😀
