My new job has many assets but one of the best things about it is that I can spend my breaks in the park with Milo. And when we went there yesterday I managed to capture him in action. The funniest thing, though, was a kid that saw Milo and turned to his Grandad: “Grandaddy, this dog looks like a small cow”! I guess he was right…
I was wandering for a few days how to match my lovely Nike Air max with a maxi skirt and finally I had a great idea: a maxi dress with a shirt would make a great combo. I added some of my favorite accessories like the Aliosha, my white rubber Ice watch and a handmade bracelet. I loved this outfit – comfy, funky and complements the red hair perfectly 🙂
Throughout my life I’ve listened to many different styles of music – from classics to metal, from jazz to rock, from country to industial. I’ve left the house and electronic music genre mostly for my teenage years. But for almost a year now Martin has been constantly exposing me to it and I’ve inevitably liked some of it. As a result here are my favorite ones:
From her role as Ellen Parsons in “Damages” to the big screen with “X-men: First class” and “Bridesmaids”, I believe the Australian actress has a lot of potential for becoming one of the “most wanted” in Hollywood. And seeing her fashion choices you can’t escape liking her. Her casual style ranges from sharp to rugged, her beautiful knee length dresses, funky skirts and fancy pants for more formal occasions and her red carpet attires are just flawless. I also love how her hair is the perfect accessory for her combos. And that jumpsuit from the SAG awards was divine.
I’ve been super busy with work this last week and finaly I have time to post my latest cooking atempt. It’s my first try with pork steaks and they were divine. Not that I’m bragging 🙂
They took more time than I’m used to when I’m cooking, but they were totaly worth it.
Fisrt I seasoned the staeks with soy sauce, honey, mustard, freshly cracked pepper, salt, barbeque sauce and garlic and left them in the fridge for 2,5 hours to marinate. After that I peeled the potatoes and carrots and cut them in big pieces. I sliced the mushrooms, the onion and the garlic. Then I spred some oil on a large pan and put the vegetables and the steaks in it. I poured in water and beer, covered it with tin foil and put it in a preheated to 180C oven.
I checked it every 20 minutes and turned the meat to make sure it will be evenly roasted. After 1h 40min the meat and the vegetables were cooked very well so I removed the foil to get a good browning of the meat and left it for 20 more minutes.
And that was it – 2 hours and 4 delicious steaks. Bon apetit!
As every girl, I’ve made bracelets as a kid. Now these are my favorite accessories and I have tons of them: silver, gold, leather, plastic, wooden, textile, big, small, black, white, motley, funny, sophisticated…I think you get the idea. So naturally, this Christmas I got a beautiful handmade white and olive green one and I thought I should try making one myself. I went to a great little shop near my place, I spent the good time of an hour there. I bought all the beads I liked without a clear idea of how I wanted to match them. Now I have four, in my opinion, sweet new bracelets. I don’t know if this could grow into something like a hobby or even a business, but I’m very happy with the result.
