I’ve been meaning to get a new tattoo for a while and I wanted it to be behind my ear. At first I wanted something else there and because my initial idea will look better if it’s bigger I had to figure out something new for that spot. And when my best friend told me last week that she had the impulsive decision to get a new tattoo and she had booked an appointment, my thought was – we can go together, that would be perfect! I started looking through minimalist designs and this was my absolute favorite. It’s totally me and I hope you like it. In the wake of the release of Episode VII of the Star Wars saga – The force awakens, it’s perfectly normal to be obsessed with everything Star Wars-y. The last two weeks I’ve been watching the old movies and this trailer was released just in time for the nerd in me to explode with excitement. And the best thing is that I got tickets for me and my folks to see the movie at the premiere on the 18th December!
About the trailer – it looks epic. The new characters that weren’t in the teasers seem awesome and the fact that we see the bad guy in full is great. He looks super cool! And I love that there’s a possibility Luke to have gone all Darth Vader, so can’t wait for December. Oh, and one more thing, I really enjoyed the new vibe in the music, nice touch.
In addition, as it’s Friday and I try to share some interesting thing I’ve found on the Internet during the week, I think it’s only fair to share cool things related to Star Wars:
As you may know, I’m a big sucker for shoes. Some people (Martin) may even call me an addict. I have more that 50 pairs..yeah, I know, and I can buy shoes every day. But I try to control myself as best I can. Keeping that in mind, this season is one of my favorite one as I can put on all kinds of shoes. I can wear flats with almost everything and I can combine converse sneakers either with a moto jacket, a parka or a coat. If I want to be a little more fancy, I go for wedge boots or high heels. And I can’t survive my walks with Churchill without my rubber boots.
The next fall essential on my list is the scarf. Big, small, infinity, woolen, textile, monochromatic, colourful, with stripes, with fringe…I love them all. It’s one of my favorite accessories, especially for this season. And if you have a sensitive neck like me, the scarf is simply a must. You can pair it with shirts, t-shirts, tops and dresses and you’ll always look good and stay warm at the same time.
As the weather is getting colder in this part of the world, I, and I guess most people, start bundling up and craving more warm nights on the couch. I try to stay on trend, but there are a few essentials I’ve discovered work for every fall that comes and goes. I tend to share them every day of this week, so stay tuned.
#1 The jacket
Fall can be tricky – cold in the mornings and warm during the day, so I always wear a jacket. I have a few faux leather and denim ones, so I suggest you get at least one. If you go with the moto style, you can always try something like this:
