Friday finds
Hey guys! This is something I’m considering trying. As I love to search the web for new and interesting things, most often linked to my interests, I’d like to share these finds with you. And what better day to do that than Friday – I’ve had all the work week to gather some very interesting things. I’d like to start with these:
The first one isn’t exactly a find but I’d love to share it nevertheless. It’s a project I’ve been working on from the start of the year and I’m really proud of. So, if some of you want to discover the beauties of my country, you can and must totally use this website, whose content is my doing:
The English version will be online soon, so I’ll keep you posted on this.
My other shares are proper finds. An inventive shoes designer whose flats can be turned into heels in one simple movement:
And these super cute jewelry I found on Etsy and really considering ordering one of those. You know I’m a sucker for animals:
Oh those funky shoes
All the things that make me happy
If you’re bored enough to read my blog regularly, you probably know my interests. Today I’ve put together a little scetch of most of my favorite things. Music, movies, books, art and drawing, cars, fashion, travel, Star Wars, fantasy and dragons, and beer:D I hope you’ll like it and I’d love to hear what are the things that put a smile on your face when you get up in the morning or get home after work.

I don’t know if you’ve seen my post about my first ebay order or if you remember it, but I got these fabulous wedge sneakers yesterday! They’re here and they’re more beautiful than I imagined. I’m even more in love now that I got them on my feet. The sneakers are cool, casual, super comfy and make my legs look great 🙂 I just hope I don’t become addicted to online shopping since I have to take care of my apartment first. So fingers crossed I remain iron-willed 🙂
My first ebay order and the wedge sneaker trend
Okay, I know that the title of today’s post sounds like the title of a school essay assignment gone bad, but that’s what happened to me today. I’ve always been a little cautious about ordering stuff online. Maybe because I like doing my actual shopping and seeing the things I want “in real life”, or maybe because I don’t trust that the online sellers will send me the exact thing I purchased. Or maybe I’m a little old-fashioned. No matter the reason, I prefer to dodge ebay. I’ve seen what it can do to people, their time and, most of all, their bank account. But I’ve been in love with these sneakers for a long time now, and I couldn’t find the anywhere here in Bulgaria. So after quite the consideration, I was like “What the hell, everybody does it, and I really want them”. I got my card out, suppressed the urge to stop myself and 10-20 days from today I’ll have these amazing shoes on my feet 🙂
Socks and sunshine
I love building up my outfit around one accessory. Most of the times its shoes as I’m kind of addicted to them, but this time it was a pair of socks 🙂
Cupcakes and a man’s shirt
I was looking through my photos from the past few months and decided to post these as I love the outfit. Earlier this year I found a tutorial on how to wear a man’s shirt in different ways. As I enjoy a good challenge, I tried all of them. If you like the idea I would recommend finding a big shirt, especially if you try the skirt or the dress. The top I’m wearing is done with one of my dad’s shirts and is my improvisation. I just switched the front with the back, I’ve put on a belt and adjusted it to my liking. I’m also wearing one of my favorite pairs of jeans which I found at a vintage store in Varna, a cute pair of blue heels and a hairstyle that completes the look.
You can see the tutorial of the different ways you can wear a man’s shirt here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-w504UBoUFM
Doing the hairstyle is pretty easy: Divide your hair in two sections. Tease the upper one and pin at the back. Divide the remaining section in two parts and braid each one of them. Pull each braid to the opposite side of your head and secure with bobby pins. You can tuck the ends underneath each braid. Finish with hair spray and you’re done!
The last day of summer. In October
It’s the 26th of October and it’s still sunny a rather warm! So me and my friend and colleague Petya decided to have our lunch brake at the zoo that’s practically 50 meters from our office. We found a nice gazebo where we could eat our sandwiches and watch the nearby animals. Petya loves shooting pictures of me or, if I have to be honest, I made her do it, but I’m very happy with the end product. And I’m glad I had one more chance to wear one of my favorite pairs of shoes this summer 🙂
