Friday finds: Unplugged

I’ve always loved live music and I try to go to as many concerts I can. I’ve even went to a few on my own 😀 For a while now I’ve playing a few sets on repeat almost every day. So instead of sharing links, this Friday I decided I’d like to share the music that makes my hairs stand up and reaches the deepest parts of my being.

I’ve seen some of my favorite bands but it’s too bad I won’t be able to see Alice in Chains in their original state. Nirvana’s case is kind of the same. The only difference is that Alice in Chains is hands down my favorite band and Nirvana have never been on top of my list but their Unplugged set definitely is number 3 on this one. My only hope stays with Pearl Jam. Until then, I can always experience these:

29 and on fire

I had my birthday on Saturday and I’m officially in my last year beginning with 2. I’m guessing next year I will freak out a bit, but for now I’m feeling great. I got to spent my birthday with most of my loved ones and I had an awesome time. The best thing was my cousin was here and I haven’t spent my birthday with him in quite a while. I got to dance and laugh and eat great food, ok and drink a lot, and that’s how it’s supposed to be. No matter that I’m getting older. The thing is that I had so much fin that I have no photos from the last 3 days. But as I’m still celebrating today at the office I thought it’s time to also share my new fiery hair. Hope you like it!

Friday finds

Today I’ll be sharing more of my web finds and they will be very singular, sorry 🙂

Martin’s Christmas gift for me was a Kindle reader, which I haven’t even tried before a few days ago. First he was playing with it and all its features, like the Mr Gadget he is. Then, right after I’ve uploaded the books I wanted, I messed up my eye and the doctor said I shouldn’t be reading. So This week was my lucky “book” one as I finally got to use my gift and I have to say I love it. It’s light, user-friedly, it can store so many books and I can carry it everywhere with me. The only problem is that I don’t have a case. And here come my finds, some of the cutest Kindle cases I found:

Friday finds

These are my first Friday web finds for the new 2016 and I’d like to start with this amazing thing Martin sent me yesterday.

He described it like “Airbnb for dogs” and he was quite right. It’s a pet sitters platform for Ireland where you can find pet sitters in your neighborhood, review their profiles and availability, you can contact them, reserve and pay online. It looks super useful and I’d give anything to have something like that in Bulgaria, considering how often I travel.

You can see the site here: www.pawshake.ie

The other thing I found are the release dates for all the upcoming Star Wars movies. Maybe I should stop with the Star Wars related posts but the hype from me viewing The Force Awakens hasn’t died out yet, so I guess you’d have to bare with me 🙂

Check them out here: http://moviepilot.com/posts/3713121?utm_source=fb-stream-post&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=these-5-upcoming-star-wars-movies-make-a-galaxy-far-far-away-seem-pretty-damn-close

My last find is this great fitness site by Strahil Ivanov, where you can read all about dieting, exercises, sport and health. I love that he explains the medical reasons behind his statements and he provides all kinds of tips why you should or shouldn’t do something.

You can see it here: http://fitbg.net/

Holiday “hype”

The holidays are gone, all presents are given, the hype has died out and people, including me, are back to their usual everyday lives. I didn’t update you on my holidays as, well, I just wanted to experience them. The best thing was that Martin was back and we got spent a little time together. I partied a little as you can see from the second photo. We had a blast at our company Christmas party. You can never go wrong with a Great Gatsby team, after all.

Beside that and a few more not so glamorous outings, I spent the holidays on different couches with Martin and Churchill – at home, at my parents and grandparents, at his folks, at a friend’s countryside villa. I just loved the total oblivion of it.

I won’t bother you with New year’s resolutions, as I think the hype should last more that in the short 1 week between Christmas and NYE. And I believe that I don’t need to change with the start of every new year. Change has taken such a big part of my life that I don’t tend to plan it. Life just doesn’t go as you’ve planned it, so I may just as well enjoy the unknown. What about you?
