I had my birthday on Saturday and I’m officially in my last year beginning with 2. I’m guessing next year I will freak out a bit, but for now I’m feeling great. I got to spent my birthday with most of my loved ones and I had an awesome time. The best thing was my cousin was here and I haven’t spent my birthday with him in quite a while. I got to dance and laugh and eat great food, ok and drink a lot, and that’s how it’s supposed to be. No matter that I’m getting older. The thing is that I had so much fin that I have no photos from the last 3 days. But as I’m still celebrating today at the office I thought it’s time to also share my new fiery hair. Hope you like it!
As you may know, I’m a big sucker for shoes. Some people (Martin) may even call me an addict. I have more that 50 pairs..yeah, I know, and I can buy shoes every day. But I try to control myself as best I can. Keeping that in mind, this season is one of my favorite one as I can put on all kinds of shoes. I can wear flats with almost everything and I can combine converse sneakers either with a moto jacket, a parka or a coat. If I want to be a little more fancy, I go for wedge boots or high heels. And I can’t survive my walks with Churchill without my rubber boots.
The next fall essential on my list is the scarf. Big, small, infinity, woolen, textile, monochromatic, colourful, with stripes, with fringe…I love them all. It’s one of my favorite accessories, especially for this season. And if you have a sensitive neck like me, the scarf is simply a must. You can pair it with shirts, t-shirts, tops and dresses and you’ll always look good and stay warm at the same time.
As the weather is getting colder in this part of the world, I, and I guess most people, start bundling up and craving more warm nights on the couch. I try to stay on trend, but there are a few essentials I’ve discovered work for every fall that comes and goes. I tend to share them every day of this week, so stay tuned.
#1 The jacket
Fall can be tricky – cold in the mornings and warm during the day, so I always wear a jacket. I have a few faux leather and denim ones, so I suggest you get at least one. If you go with the moto style, you can always try something like this:
Hey guys! This is something I’m considering trying. As I love to search the web for new and interesting things, most often linked to my interests, I’d like to share these finds with you. And what better day to do that than Friday – I’ve had all the work week to gather some very interesting things. I’d like to start with these:
The first one isn’t exactly a find but I’d love to share it nevertheless. It’s a project I’ve been working on from the start of the year and I’m really proud of. So, if some of you want to discover the beauties of my country, you can and must totally use this website, whose content is my doing:
I still haven’t shared the photos and experience from my travels from the last few months but I’m experiencing some technical problems… don’t ask. However, I can share with you my new craze-hats. After I cut my hair I found that I like how hats look on me. I even bought 5 or 6 different ones but haven’t wore them more than once. I decided to change that and I think it’s worth it. What do you think:
Paris week will continue soon,as I was a little under the weather. But today I decided to share today’s outfit as I’m super happy with it. The other day I finally went to a little vintage shop I was passing by for the last 6 months. After I’ve tried on 90% of the clothes, I bought 3 cute dresses and a blazer. This is one of the dresses – a blue Clockhouse piece with small flamingo print that I couldn’t resist. I matched it with white lace H&M platforms, a light blue H&M messenger bag, Swarovski stardust light blue bracelet, MAC Russian red lipstick and navy head scarf. I can’t wait to see what you think of the outfit.
I think I found my favorite spring color and it goes great with my red hair, so double win. I matched my mint and bright yellow wedges with black jeans from H&M, mint top from Zara, denim jacket and my vintage bag with Vespas, that Martin bought me last year when we were at Legkada. This quirky accessory just makes me smile and completes the whole outfit. Stay tuned for the other accessories I’m loving right now..
Since I cut my hair I found that I can’t do many things with my hair. But I can do one of my favorite hairstyles – short and curly. This time I combined it with my favorite new oversized scarf, striped shirt, black jacket and jeans and Isabel Marant sneakers. Cozy and perfect for winter.
It’s not a surprise that my mood, like most people’s, is affected by the clothes I wear. Researchers have found that women in particular attach emotions to clothes. One of the pieces that always puts a smile on my face is this vintage floral dress. I decided to match it with black tights and oxford pumps and was really glad with the romantic look I got.
